Glenville State University is seeking a skilled and motivated Director of eSports to lead the University’s collegiate eSports program. The Director will be involved with the daily administration of the collegiate eSports program. The Director will be responsible for the administration of the eSports program and will handle daily communication and interaction with students, making it a priority to grow and develop them academically, socially, and athletically.
The Director is responsible for the recruitment and scholarship management of the eSports program and is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the eSports program while serving as the face of the program in relation to Glenville State University. Additional eSports activities will include evaluation of talent, filling the roster to the required number, coaching, inviting recruits for visits, develop awareness for the program, advise the eSports student organization, and work with Admissions, Financial Aid, and other departments across campus. This position will require schedule adjustments outside of the traditional 8AM-4PM office hours and often requires evenings, some weekends, and travel. The Director will support the mission and values of Glenville State University and serve as a mentor to students and student-athletes. This position reports to the Executive Director of Student Life and is a key member of the university’s Student Life team.

Position requires a bachelor's degree with prior higher education experience preferred. In addition, previous recruitment experience is strongly preferred. Candidate must have a positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to resolve issues.
