The Director of Football Cinematography will work as part of the football digital media team to ensure the production of high-quality, compelling videos and other creative audio and visual content for the Nebraska Football program. Will produce content exclusively for Nebraska Football including, but not limited to, highlight/interview packages, documentary/behind-the-scenes features, student-athlete profiles, long-form stories, other feature content, social media content, branded content, fan engagement videos, and recruiting video concepts. Creatively tell the stories of the football program’s student-athletes and staff through various channels while constantly evaluating and enhancing content on a weekly basis. Lead and manage a group of student-video interns who will assist in capturing and producing content throughout the calendar year including game days, practices, team events, community service opportunities, and the overall behind the scenes of program daily operations. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and travel opportunities for team and program-related activities/events and the ability to lift and transport heavy camera/studio equipment on occasion.

Bachelor’s degree and one year of digital media experience working in football.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the fast-paced nature of college football and cooperate with a plethora of student-athletes and support staff members within a large organization. Proficiency as a cinematographer in both studio and live event settings preferred along with knowledge in creative lighting and studio setup.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe platforms such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc. is highly encouraged.
