Anderson University Athletics Department invites applicants for a full-time Director of Football Equipment. The Director of Football Equipment will report directly to the Head Football Coach and will assist and support in the development and maintenance of an effective and competitive NCAA Division II Football equipment program. Primary responsibilities for this positon include, ordering, inventory, and distribution of all equipment to Anderson University’s Football team and staff. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, hiring and managing all student employees and/or volunteers; coordinating and overseeing daily equipment use for practice, training, and competition; ensure proper storage, maintenance, and repair of all apparel and field equipment, assists the Head Football Coach in creating and adhering to the equipment budget, establishes a strong relationship with equipment and supply vendors, and is compliant with the University, South Atlantic Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through completion of a bachelor’s degree and previous work experience in collegiate athletic programs is required. Regular travel and extended weekly hours may be necessary. Interaction with student-athletes, coaches, staff, administration, and external partners is required daily to facilitate all aspects of the equipment room, and to promote and maintain the health, safety, and performance of Anderson’s student-athletes; those with strong leadership and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
