Implement a psychological skills training program for enhancing team and individual performance. Work closely with players to develop an individualized mental preparation and mental recovery plan unique to each athlete that addresses areas of strength and weakness such as but not limited to improving focus, self- awareness, cognitive and emotional flexibility, confidence, composure, one’s ability to think clearly and excel under pressure. Consult/collaborate with associated health care providers for mental health care support, drug and alcohol counseling, and mental health assessments for student-athletes. Work closely with players to develop an individualized mental preparation and mental recovery plan and address individual performance challenges. Consult with coaching staff to support and provide research and education on the best practices for leadership, player motivation and coaching styles. Develop and implement customized strategies for personal and professional growth among players, coaches, and football staff relevant to sustaining psychological health and achieving elite performance. Work with team leaders to address topics such as, but not limited to, team goal setting, leadership style, communication, managing conflict and enhancing team cohesion. Master’s degree in Sport or Performance Psychology and 2 years experience in an applied elite or professional sport environment (
