Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience working in a collegiate athletic department
• Professional communication skills to interact with the various publics
• Basic Excel, Word, etc. skills

Job Concepts

• Directs football operations
• Assists head coach in all day to day operations as they arise
• Direct report of all support staff members and manage weekly meetings
• Assists recruiting coordinator in all day to day recruiting needs as they arise
• Liaison to Admissions, Financial Aid and Compliance
• Oversees all aspects of budget, travel, and team meats
• Liaison to training room, equipment and strength staffs
• Liaison to facilities/maintenance
• Liaison to Game Day Operations
• Liaison to Southland Officials, and Pro Scout liaison
• Complies with all NCAA rules and regulations as per the NCAA Compliance Manual
• Assists NSU admissions office in identifying and recruiting students who are outstanding academically or in extracurricular activities other than athletics
• Attends alumni functions and fund raisers as schedule permits
• Participate in community activities that allow the promotion of sport, the department, and/or the University
• Identify and cultivate potential donors to the athletic department and the University.
