The Director of Football Rehabilitation will be responsible for administering, coordinating, and optimizing rehabilitation/return-to-play programs of football student-athletes as well as working proactively to prevent injuries utilizing a collaborative and progressive approach in conjunction with other members of the performance team including Team Physicians, Strength and Conditioning, Sport Science, Nutrition, and Sports Psychology. This position will monitor progressions and assist in data driven processes for return to play in under the Head Football Athletic Trainer & Chief Medical Director/Head Team Physician. This position will need to be able to work effectively with a wide range of athletes in a diverse community. Nebraska Athletic Medicine utilizes Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as Teamworks. Working with the team will involve working long hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Adherence to all

Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and 2 (two) years full-time experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Current Nebraska license in Physical Therapy or license eligible. Emergency response certification (
CPR

, Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire. Please submit a copy of your PT license and any additional licensure(s) or certification(s).
2 years post-graduate experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic/athletic injuries to football student-athletes at the Division I or Professional sports level preferred. Experience with use of testing modalities including, but not limited to,
VALD
Performance Suite, Catapult, and isokinetic dynamometry. Experience working within a collaborative performance team preferred. Experience working within a collaborative performance team preferred. Dual credentialed as Athletic Trainer Certified (
ATC
) preferred. Additional continuing education certification(s) preferred
