Director of Football Video Services

Athletics Administration-Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh-(24000627)

Manage all aspects of the sports video operations for football. This includes film exchange, video capture, editing, production, equipment maintenance, and related support for coaches‚ and student-athletes’ use. Bachelor’s degree along with three years’ experience working daily with sports video equipment and editing systems are required.

Job Summary

Assists with videography unit operations, produces videos, and adheres to branding guidelines and best practices. Collaborates on video content and strategy. Maintains project schedules, assists the Production team in monitoring production status, and generates and distributes departmental tracking documents. Oversees student workers in assignments and duties.

Essential Functions

Required to work on a daily basis with the football coaching staff and meet their needs and requests for football video to be used for coaching, teaching, game planning, and practice prep and review. Responsible for filming and editing all games, practice sessions and team workouts, as well as maintain a video record. Work with Operations staff on all team meetings and be asked to develop and produce assorted motivational videos throughout the year. Responsible for maintenance of all coaching video devices and meeting room equipment.

Physical Effort

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Deskwork,computerwork,videowork,phonework, and attendingmeetingsthroughout the day. Travel required for away and home competitions.
