Directs activities to strategically engage, cultivate, and steward former football student-athletes resulting in benefits to them and the Clemson Football program that lead to greater opportunities in personal business and program exposure. Assists the football program in recruiting prospective student-athletes and developing current student-athletes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Directs activities to strategically engage, cultivate, and steward former football student-athletes resulting in benefits to them and the Clemson Football program that lead to greater opportunities in personal business and program exposure. Assists the football program in recruiting prospective student-athletes and developing current student-athletes. Performs other duties as assigned.
30% - Essential - Outreach: Develops and administers a strategic plan of outreach to former players to include regular travel throughout the year. Identifies opportunities for former player engagement. Works in collaboration with The P.A.W Journey team to host various former player networking and hiring events. Assists with donor stewardship and acquiring new supporters through hosting, presenting, and long-term maintenance of relationships.
25% - Essential - IPTAY Coordination: Manages and grows a major gifts portfolio of former football players and football related prospects with an associated target number of visits, solicitations, and dollars raised as approved by IPTAY's Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts. Funds raised to support football program initiatives (e.g capital projects, Best is Standard Fund, PAW Journey, etc). Meet monthly with IPTAY's Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts. Periodically attend IPTAY staff meetings. Coordinate football reunion activities and Fall BBQ, spring game weekend, and honorary captains with the Block C Club.
20% - Essential - Gameday Management: Manages former player access on gamedays. Coordinates credential distribution, parking, and logistical support. To include post-season games.
15% - Essential - Player Development: Interacts and mentors football student-athletes in professional and personal development contexts.
10% - Essential - Perform other duties as directed.
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience - 3+ years

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as Lead - Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.

Standard Hours: 40
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
