The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations as well as providing support for the professional development of our coaches and staff, all within the role of the greater institutional relationships to the University. NC State Football program is a Division 1
FBS
program within the Atlantic Coast Conference.
This position will work on developing, enhancing plus maintaining the on-campus and
overall recruiting experience at an elite level for NC State Football. Position reports directly to the Assistant AD / General Manager for Football.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Advance the research, development and strategies in the areas of player acquisition
Communications – Marketing – Campus Experiences
Oversee the planning and coordination of the total recruiting experience for recruits on campus for official visits, unofficial visits, game day and all recruiting events
Create all schedules & itineraries
Work with all internal & external groups to arrange collaboration for visits
Coordinate all travel, lodging, restaurant, catering, facility logistics and scheduling
Coordinate visit plans and details with prospects and families as point of contact
Assist with coordination of recruiting budget, contracts and payments to vendors
Develop, coordinate and maintain the overall recruiting calendar
Incorporate events, camps, social media, creative content, mailers, writing and call plans
Collaborate with creative team on relevant and trendy recruiting ideas
Oversee the execution and logistics of coach related travel – liaison with Anthony Travel
Oversee the recruiting operations assistant & student interns
Hiring & onboarding process
Game day and event meetings
Expectations and compliance
Creating, updating and ordering all recruiting materials and supplies
Any other duties assigned by the General Manager
Follow all compliance related rules of NC State University,
NCAA
&
ACC
Direct reports includes:
Recruiting Operations Assistant, Student interns assigned to recruiting operations
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Collegiate Football Scouting/Recruiting.

| Other Required Qualifications |
- Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and policies around recruiting and prospective student athletes.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- 5 years of more working in Collegiate Football Scouting/Recruiting.
