Job Description

The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Operations to support the Men's Baseball program.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all aspects of team travel including meals, lodging and transportation.
  • Manage the teams day to day scheduling platform Teamworks.
  • Support operational needs of the office and baseball program as assigned on day-to-day basis.
  • Provide operational and logistical support to all members of the Baseball coaching and support staff.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Must be able to accommodate overtime, including working irregular hours, and travel during the season.
  • Must possess good communication and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of coaching video software solutions.
  • Ability and desire to perform accurate, detail-oriented work, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and make sound judgments independently or as a team member.
