The Director of Operations for Women’s Basketball is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our women’s basketball program including managing team and staff travel, recruiting, academics, and team promotion/outreach. Duties include but are not limited to:
Utilizing
DRAGON
FLY
film exchange software to assist with editing/film breakdown.
Managing team travel including planning hotel reservations; transportation; team meals; itineraries; paperwork submissions; and serving as the primary contact to the Business Office.
Organizing and maintaining the recruiting database in conjunction with sending out transcript requests, providing information, and organizing visits for families.
Maintaining practice schedules, playbooks, and general team correspondence.
Monitoring student-athlete academic progress and scheduling/overseeing community service activities.
Must be willing to work long hours in addition to nights and weekends.
Significant travel is required during basketball season.

certification or completed within 6 months of employment.
This is a restricted position subject to available funding and employment may be subject to the term of the Head Coach.
This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, and/or experience.
Knowledge of
NCAA
rules and recruiting procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills in addition to the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
Current
CPR
certification or completed within 6 months of employment.
Previous basketball playing or coaching experience.
Experience making travel arrangements for large groups.
Hybrid (works remotely at least 1 day per week but not full-time)
Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval. Employee eligibility depends on the likelihood of the employee succeeding in a remote work arrangement and the supervisor’s ability to manage remote workers. Departments and/or Human Resources may amend, alter, change, delete, or modify eligibility.
