Job Summary

• Assist the Director of Operations with planning weekly and monthly Student-Athlete practices, class and study hall schedules
• Assist the Director of Operations and Compliance Office with all the program needs
• Serve as the admissions contact for incoming Student-Athletes
• Assist with all on-campus recruiting activities
• Serve as the Academic Mentor for the Men's Basketball Student-Athletes
• Assist in parent relations and communications
• Direct and support basketball staff with community service activities
• Assist the Director of Operations with all camp responsibilities
• Assist with all special events including basketball alumni relations
• Arrange training table meals with the Athletic Trainer, Strength Coach, and Dietitian
• Serve as basketball liaison with Equipment Manager and Apparel Provider
• Coordinate with coaching staff a comprehensive improvement plan for each student athlete
  

Required Qualifications*

• Must demonstrate an understanding of the NCAA Compliance rules.
• Must have NCAA Basketball working and/or playing experience.
• Must have NBA Playing and/or Coaching experience
• Must have four-year college degree
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with all individuals at all levels of the organization
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and time sensitive demands.
