Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Director of Player Development position. This position will oversee the coordination and organization of student-athlete development within the football program. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.

This position will oversee the coordination and organization of student-athlete development within the football program. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
Essential Functions:
Liaison to academics
Player housing management
Player parking management
Liaison to parents of current team
Manage and grow the scale of all community service initiatives
Coordinate guest speaker programming
Manage home and away player tickets
Travel With Team to Away Games
Attend home hotel the night before the game
In game responsibility of assisting with former players and donors
Coordinate logistics and needs for new player orientation / move-in
Manage curfew check assignments during preseason camp
Attend meetings/practice when there is a working purpose
Attend all staff meetings
Support operations department as needed
Support recruiting efforts as needed
Additional duties as needed to drive the success of the Duke Football Program
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 1 year of related operational and program experience (2 years preferred), preferably with a Division I program
