Responsibilities include overseeing the Athletic Department’s sports psychology and mental health services; providing sports psychology and mental health psychology services, drug and alcohol counseling, mental health assessments and education to student-athletes and sports programs; provide mental skills and performance training; and supervising the Athletic Psychologists. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends depending on students athletes needs and schedules. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology plus a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a licensed psychologist. Currently certified or on track for certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (
CMPC
). Either currently licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in the state of Nebraska
A preferred candidate will have experience and training in one or more of the following: performance psychology assessments and evaluations; dual training in Kinesiology and Counseling/Clinical psychology. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience embedded within a
NCAA
Division I Athletic Department or professional sports organization providing mental health and sports performance services to athletes in individual and team environments.
