Working under the supervision of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, this position will be specifically responsible for planning, organizing, and administering a comprehensive departmental sports information program.

Description of Duties:
Implement a comprehensive sports information department, including all aspects of media relations and communications, internal and external marketing of the Athletic Program
Serve as liaison between IUP athletic department and university offices, local, regional, statewide and national media.
Oversee process of in-game statistics for baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, football, field hockey, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, softball, and women’s volleyball.
This is a non-represented management position.
MINIMUM:
Bachelors Degree
PREFERRED:
Masters Degree

The work of this position occurs in a typical office environment. Although infrequent, periods of heavy exertion may occur. Incumbent must have the following abilities:
