The Director / Strength & Conditioning, Olympic Sports assists all strength and conditioning personnel to implement the strategic plan of strength and conditioning to enhance the student athlete experience of each Olympic Sport athlete within Virginia Tech's Athletic Department. This position will be responsible for assisting in management of all aspects of personnel, facilities and budget matters pertaining to the nineteen Olympic Sports. Position reports directly to the Assistant AD / Strength & Conditioning, Olympic Sports.

Required Qualifications
Apply NowBachelor's degree in exercise science, sports administration or other sports/exercise related field with significant experience, or a master's degree in a sports/exercise related field.
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist National Strength and Conditioning Association, or .
Strength & conditioning Coach Certified Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
CPR/AED

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Division 1 collegiate athletics or professional Strength and Conditioning setting, as a graduate assistant or coach.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
