Baylor University is seeking an Enrollment Management Coordinator to support the Financial Aid Scholarship Team with a focus on Athletic Compliance partnership and student athlete aid administration. The Financial Aid Coordinator will perform a high level of work through administration, analysis, commitment to compliance, and training.
Required skills and Qualifications
Proven advanced qualifications including supervisor and/or Baylor Enrollment Management leadership referral, exemplary Baylor performance rating of “Area of Mastery,” professional credentials, advanced educational degrees, and/or educational or professional certifications will be considered in lieu of years of experience.
Financial Aid and Higher Education experience.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
Strong analytical and critical thinking to identify patterns, gaps, research solutions, assess performance, and support implementation of processes, procedures, and policies.
Effective project management through solid communication, interpersonal skills, motivational skills, and organization.
A Bachelor’s degree, two years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Five years of relevant work experience is preferred.
A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What You Will Do
Perform packaging, re-packaging, certification, and adjustments of institutional, state, federal, and private financial aid.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, NCAA, and university regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
Development and documentation of policy and procedure.
Regular status updates and executive reporting to ensure leadership is well versed in operations.
Daily, monthly, and annual audit, and reconciliation of financial aid programs including institutional, state, federal, and private entities.
Analyze, audit, and proactive identification of errors to find resolution, which supports compliance and student experience.
Report patterns in data to supervisor to address areas of needed training, and/or changes to policy and procedure for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
Regular status updates and executive reporting to ensure leadership is well versed in operations.
Support collaborative work and training efforts for individual teams, as well as cross-functional support in Financial Aid, Enrollment Management, and Baylor University.
Research and respond to requests from team members to support customer service and student experience.
Partner with Student Financial Aid Tech Team in automation setup, performance, and preparing reports to support Financial Aid Operations.
Attend training sessions and conferences, to include travel, as necessary.
Assist with special projects and any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
