The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Equipment Assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Football Equipment Room. Responsibilities include: coordinating all areas of practice field setup; performing equipment/sled inspections; setting up the Coach Comm X-System for practices; assisting with student manager programs; and recruiting photoshoots.This posting will close at end of business day on June 11, 2025.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sports Administration, or a related field AEMA certification within 12 months of start date Flexible, detail-oriented individual with effective communication and computer skills Ability to multi-task effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and team travel Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletic environment Experience managing athletic equipment
