Reporting to the Director of Equipment Services / Football, the Equipment Services Assistant / Football assists in the maintenance of athletic and sports equipment for the football program. Will provide support in ordering, distribution, collection, cleaning, repairing and proper documentation of inventory for all play and practice equipment used by the Virginia Tech football team. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations, Atlantic Coast Conference uniform regulations, and the Commonwealth of Virginia purchasing guidelines, relative to ordering and issuing equipment.

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of equipment room inventory systems.
Experience using an internet based purchasing software.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
Budget management experience.
Supervisory Experience.
