Job Purpose

The ESPN Broadcast Assistant(s) will be right in the heart of the action of all of Winthrop’s live sports broadcasts on ESPN! Get the chance to learn how to operate a camera, run replays, and create graphics.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ESPN Broadcast Assistant(s) will fill a multitude of different positions on live broadcasts. Camera operator, replay operator, graphics, and audio are just a few positions that the Broadcast Assistant(s) will be taught how to fulfill. This person must be reliable and have the ability to arrive to events on time. Willingness to learn and try new things is a massive plus!

Qualifications

The ESPN Broadcast Assistant(s) must be a Winthrop University Student.

Preferred Skills

Understanding and knowledge of sports broadcasts and video equipment (preferred but not necessary). Some basic sports knowledge.
