Position Summary
The Esports Coordinator is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week position responsible for supporting the daily operations of the
ECU Tiger Esports program. This role serves as an essential support position to help ensure the program runs smoothly
and effectively.
Essential Job Duties
• Assist the Esports Director with general operations and program logistics
• Serve as a direct liaison between student workers and the Esports Director
• Manage internal communications via email, Discord, and phone
• Oversee and support daily lab operations
• Assist with student recruitment and outreach efforts
• Help coordinate and facilitate on-campus and community esports events
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example
• Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
• Ability to communicate in a courteous manner

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounter while

The work environment includes both typical office settings with moderate noise levels and outdoor environments with
varying weather conditions. The role involves exposure to wet and humid conditions, as well as inclement weather during
outdoor practices and games. Frequent driving is required for recruitment and team travel.
