The Executive Associate Athletic Director, Sports Performance & Student Athlete Support Services has direct oversight of the Athletic Department's comprehensive sports performance program and student athlete support services, including but not limited to athletic training, strength & conditioning, sports nutrition, mental health counseling, and student athlete support services.

Job Summary Serves as a senior advisor to the athletic director and athletics department and leads in the development and advancement of strategic priorities and management. Oversees major departments within athletics and leads multiple teams, initiatives and projects. Serves as liaison between internal and external stakeholders and fosters key relationships on behalf of the athletic department. Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.

Essential Functions Develops strategy in alignment with athletics department leadership and supervises the Athletic Department's comprehensive sports performance and student athlete support programs. Oversight and management of the following units: athletic training, strength & conditioning, sports nutrition, mental health counseling, and student athlete support services. Duties include but are not limited to budget development & oversight, oversight of strategy and management, personnel, and contracts for each of these areas.

Physical Effort Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/ or experience requirement. Additional details about Required Licensure/Certification 7 years' experience with sports medicine and sports performance or senior level athletic administration, including experience as a collegiate/professional athlete or coach, progressive experience leading and managing multiple units at the Division 1 level of college athletics.
