This 9-month Expert-in-Residence position includes responsibilities in teaching, professional development, and service. Teaching expectations are up to 18 contact hours per year and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery. Courses may include Introduction to the Business of Sport and Sport Facility and Event Management. Administrative duties related to this role include co-curricular activity engagement with students and advising support for Sport Business students. This individual would be expected to develop good working relationships with the JU Athletic Department and campus athletic representatives. Basic knowledge of the important role the NCAA plays in the governance of college sports is expected. Individuals that have coordinated with University Athletics in the administration of academic programs are preferred as well as those with experience in undergraduate and graduate course design in the area of sport, and NCAA expertise.
