Job Summary: The Federal Work-Study Student Assistant for Women's Basketball will provide support to the coaching staff and assist in the daily operations of the women's basketball program. This role is ideal for students who are enthusiastic about basketball and eager to gain experience in sports management, athletic operations, and team support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing for practices and games, including setting up equipment and facilities.
- Manage and maintain equipment, apparel, and supplies, ensuring everything is in order for practices and competitions.
- Support the coordination of team travel arrangements, including transport, accommodation, and meal planning.
- Participate in the organization and execution of team events, promotional activities, and fundraising efforts.
- Maintain and update team records, such as schedules, statistics, and player information.
- Assist with recruitment processes by preparing materials and coordinating logistics for prospective student-athletes' visits.
- Ensure adherence to NCAA compliance and university athletic guidelines.
