Support athlete development across all competition levels—individual and team—within the intercollegiate structure.
Help prepare athletes for U.S. Figure Skating intercollegiate competitions, sectional and national events.
Travel with the team to competitions and assist with logistics, warm-ups, and athlete support.
Monitor and track athlete performance, providing constructive feedback and goal-setting support.
Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and sportsmanship within the team environment.
Assist with recruiting prospective student-athletes and conducting campus visits.
Collaborate with academic support staff to ensure student-athletes meet academic requirements and goals.
Participate in team meetings, fundraising efforts, and promotional activities to support program growth.
Ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and U.S. Figure Skating policies and guidelines.
Maintain current knowledge of figure skating trends, techniques, and rule changes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Four-year college degree, 1+ years in a figure skating coach position at the high school or collegiate level. Strong leadership experience required. Well-developed communications skills. Must be current with all USFSA certifications, coaching registration policies and credentials.
