The Football Analyst provides support to the football coaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of day to day operations and is primarily responsible for assisting with practice and game preparation. The successful candidate must have the ability and knowledge to break down opponent’s special teams, offensive and defensive schemes, create detailed reports, complete daily office tasks, create and maintain practice plans and game plans, and create offensive/defensive playbooks and game books. The individual should have an advanced understanding of football analytics and be able to provide reports on various criteria.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: breakdown of game films, assist with practice planning/work with the coordinators in the off-season to plan, create and implement offensive/defensive philosophies for the football team, break down each opponent’s offensive, defensive, and special teams game plan schemes, maintain weekly, seasonal self-scout/quality control documents; and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in collegiate athletics environment or professional athletics or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively;
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment;
Must have exceptional organizational skills and excel in a team environment.
This position requires evening and weekend availability.
Preferences:
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a collegiate athletics environment preferably at the
NCAA
FBS
level.

The scope of the position frequently requires evening, weekend and holiday work (non-standard work hours). While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc. Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events to service clients; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
