A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
Three years of working experience in an athletics equipment environment, including at least one year in Division I athletics equipment.
Initiative, good judgment, and the ability to efficiently perform duties and responsibilities with a minimum level of supervision are important requisites for this position.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
Competency with athletic equipment inventory software.
Experience using sewing machines and performing clothing repairs.
Demonstrated experience of strong proactive customer service.
Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends.
Ability to safely move materials and supplies up to 70 lbs.
Hands-on management experience with operational responsibilities in an athletic equipment room at the collegiate or professional level preferred.
Certification from the Athletic Equipment Managers’ Association, (AEMA) or ability to take and pass AEMA certification exam within one year of hire.
Valid California Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 10 days of hire.
