Summary

Works directly with the head coach, coordinators and assistant coaches in the operation of Division I football program. Prepares for both games and practices and any other special projects assigned to me. Breaking down and analyzing opponents; developing and maintaining offensive, defensive, special teams self analysis. Maintaining and organizing an archived video/resource library of all past games, studies, and self-scouts. Assist in advancing the department's guiding principles, vision, and strategic plan including its commitment to equity and diversity.

 

Essential Functions

30 %-Offensive/defensive analysis (Self-Scout)

  • Game practice breakdowns – input our offensive data/terminology for games/practices.
  • Cutups – create and maintain specific video edits based on plays, formations, personnel, motions, shifts, protections, down and distance, field positions, situations for coaches to watch.
  • Reports – create and maintain reports used to identify strengths and weaknesses within our systems and provide these to coaching staff so they have the information to know what our tendencies are and what has been successful for us.
