Saint Francis University, a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference, invites applications for the positions of Graduate Assistant Athletic Creative Video & Athletic Broadcasting Communications. The Graduate Assistant is responsible to the Director of Athletic Creative Video & the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications in support of the creation and distribution of materials related to 23 Division I programs and Spirit Groups. Also collaboration with the full department in support of the game day experience.
Candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Broadcasting, Communication, TV Production, Journalism, or related field. Previous experience is preferred in operating a camera under various conditions, operating a camera in a live event environment, digital video editing, Adobe Suite and other editing applications, and a basic knowledge of sport production. In addition, preferred experience with: collegiate athletic communications, Adobe Creative Suite (MAC), Stat Crew, NCAA Genius Live Stats, web streaming/video equipment, Daktronics Display (LED scorer's table/message center), and graphic/production design. Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
Compensation for position is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University master's degree program. Candidates must be admitted into a master's program at Saint Francis University in order to qualify for position.
