The Athletic Department seeks energetic and reliable casual employee to assist with the execution of home athletic events. This is an hourly, as-needed position with variable hours, primarily on evenings and weekends.
High School/GED Equivalent
CPR and First Aid certification
Personal Trainer Certification (American College of Sports Medicine Preferred)
Group Exercise Certification(s) (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America Preferred)
Necessary skills include:
Knowledge of the field of exercise science and prescription.
Knowledge to develop and implement fitness regimens.
Knowledge of proper use and care of many types of recreational equipment.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Analytical skills to identify problems, assess alternatives, and render consistent logical decisions in terms of health related issues.
Ability to operate a personal computer with the knowledge of basic office software and software used to schedule events and facilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a goal oriented team.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse group of individuals.
Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
1 year experience in development and/or execution of group Exercise Classes and PT Programs
1 year experience working in a high-volume recreational facility with
demonstrated competency in customer service.

Job Duties
| Description of Job Duties |
- Game Day Operations: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including setting up and tearing down athletic equipment, seating, and signage.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist fans, coaches, athletes, and officials. Provide information, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Venue Management: Direct fans to seating, entrances, and exits. Monitor crowd behavior and ensure all event policies and procedures are followed.
- Ticket Operations: Serve as a ticket taker at event entrances as needed.
- Equipment Management: Assist with the setup and maintenance of game-day equipment such as scoreboards and statistical systems.
- General Support: Perform other related duties as assigned by the athletic administration.
