Game Day Operations Assistant

Thomas University Athletics is seeking two game day operations assistants manage the official game clock, operate camera, produce stream, and or assist with any tasks before or during games. This role is essential to running a smooth game day and ensuring compliance with NAIA regulations.

Individuals in this role will report to the Athletic Communications Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate game clock, scoreboard, or shot clock during basketball contests
• Coordinate with referees and game officials to ensure timing accuracy
• Monitor game flow and respond quickly to stoppages and adjustments
• Maintain concentration in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Operating camera during livestreams
• Producing video stream during games

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS

• Current TU student
• Eligible for Federal College Workstudy
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain focused and responsive during live events
• Dependable and punctual
