3. Assist in the planning and implementation of summer academic support for student-athletes
4. Assist with evening team study halls and programming
5. Work compatibly and cooperatively with student-athletes and colleagues
6. Possibly assist with teaching UNIV course(es)
7. Possibly assist with tutor/mentor training
8. Possible team travel

9. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

10. Classified UHM graduate student

11. One year experience tutoring and/or teaching academic skills

12. Strong oral communication, writing and interpersonal skills

13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

14. Experience working with diverse student populations

15. Dependable, organized and efficient Desirable Qualifications

16. Experience working with student-athletes in an athletic-academic setting

17. One year teaching experience

18. Experience working with students with learning disabilities
