Responsibilities

Manage athletic venues as assigned and assist full-time staff in the execution of repairs, cleanings, and general maintenance oversight. This includes performing walkthroughs with vendors, liaising with university maintenance staff, and individually performing minor repairs.

Manage and assist in event management of Florida State Athletic contests. This includes liaising with opposing teams, creating credential boards, monitoring crowd and weather status, and oversight of student workers.

Assist in oversight over daily operations of the student worker program within the Event and Facilities Department. Duties include recruitment, management, and daily oversight of scheduling and quality control of student workers within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in collegiate athletics event management, game operations, and/or facility operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suite.
• Effective interpersonal skills; strong self-motivated work ethic, as well as a strong sense of teamwork, are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to professionally represent Florida State University by demonstrating pride and loyalty.
