Position Summary:
The Football Operations & Program Support Graduate Assistant (GA) will assist with the day-to-day operations of the football program, providing direct support to the Director of Football Operations (DFO), Head Football Coach, and Equipment Manager. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the behind-the-scenes management of a collegiate football program, including logistics, organization, equipment, administrative support, and special projects. This position is ideal for candidates pursuing a career in athletic administration or collegiate football support operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Football Operations Support:
• Assist the DFO with travel planning, team meals, itineraries, scheduling, and event logistics.
• Coordinate and help manage recruiting visit operations, including hotels, meals, facility tours, and on-campus meetings.
• Help maintain internal databases, forms, rosters, and organizational spreadsheets.
• Support the execution of team events, meetings, and presentations.
Head Coach Support:
• Assist with calendar management, administrative tasks, and preparation of materials or documents as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Help coordinate special projects and communication with campus partners, alumni, and recruits.
• Represent the Head Coach or Football Staff professionally when interacting with external stakeholders.
Equipment & Facility Support:
• Assist the Equipment Manager with daily inventory tracking, laundry operations, player issue/return, and gear organization.
• Help with locker room setup, practice field equipment, and game day logistics.
• Ensure efficient setup and breakdown for practice and workouts.
Additional Duties:
• Provide support across all areas of the football program as needed.
• Flexibility to assist with video, graphics, creative projects, and social media is a plus.
• Maintain strong internal communication with coaches, staff, and players to ensure efficient operations.

Physical Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; admission to a North Greenville University graduate program is required for employment.
• Previous experience in football operations, athletics support, or team management is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic design or video software is a plus.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• Must support and live out NGU’s mission and core values.
