Tiffin University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Baseball Program. Reporting to the Head Baseball
Coach, the Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting the coaching staff coach in all aspects of the baseball
program, including (but not limited to) practice and game preparation, field maintenance, recruiting and retention
of student-athletes, budget management, fund-raising, scheduling, public relations, community service and strict
adherence to all NCAA and university rules.
Successful candidates require strong communication and interpersonal skills; a record of integrity and leadership,
and a willingness to advance the goals of the Tiffin University Department of Athletics, including fundraising. A
commitment to the academic success and graduation of student-athletes, as well as knowledge or background of
Ohio or the surrounding area, is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution is required, as well as enrollment in Tiffin
University’s graduate program. The person in this position must live locally for the entire academic year and
will be expected to work some night and weekend hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Stipend: A competitive stipend will be provided.
• Graduate Tuition: Full or partial tuition remission for graduate courses.
• Additional Benefits: Supplemented camp money, access to athletic facilities, professional development
opportunities, and other perks associated with being part of the Tiffin University Athletic Department.
GRADUATE ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate Assistants must be regularly admitted graduate students. They must be enrolled in a minimum
of 4 credit hours each semester. If only enrolled in one term of a semester the minimum is still 4 credit
hours.

sign an intellectual property and FERPA confidentiality agreement.
• Must work 1000 hours or fewer for the year.
• There is a $4,800 Standardized Annual Stipend for all Graduate Assistantships
• 100% of Tuition Costs, Class Lab Fees, and Technology Fees are covered by Tiffin University.
• Graduate Assistants must work until the end of the semester in which they are currently enrolled. If the
GA leaves at any time during the semester enrolled in, they are responsible for paying for that semester.
