Bethany College Athletic Department Assistant Positions Available

2026-27 Academic Year

The Graduate Assistant package will include the following:

· Stipend

Athletics Communications

This position will report to the Director of Athletic Communications. Responsibilities would include:

· Create and post content to the athletic department/select athletic programs’ social media accounts.

· Serve as the primary contact for several varsity athletic teams as assigned by the Director of Sports Communications, including the writing of press releases and game recaps, roster and schedule maintenance on the athletics website, game programs, updating student-athlete and coach bios, media relations, and production of statistics at home events if applicable.

· Assist with creating other content, including photography, capturing video, writing features, developing and enhancing records and archives, and general athletic department website maintenance.

· Assisting the Director of Social Media Content & Strategy with the development and implementation of athletic department media campaigns.

· Assist with home game day operations, statistics, and broadcasts when applicable.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, must be accepted into Bethany College’s graduate program, and a valid driver’s license.

This is a 10-month appointment with the opportunity. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with coaching, workouts, administrative tasks, film analysis, driving to competitions, duties during trips, helping with recruiting, and creating social media content. This position will report directly to the Head Coach and is expected to adhere to NCAA and Presidents Athletic Conference regulations as well as the policies and procedures set forth by the Bethany College Athletic Department. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, must be accepted into Bethany College’s graduate program, and a valid driver’s license.
