Quincy University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant-Sports Information.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Serves as representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with members of the QU community and with the public.
• Assist in promotion of appropriate material for distribution platforms.
• Develop comprehensive social media strategy for all sports programs.
• Assist in arranging team and/or individual photographs and videography for all sponsored sports.
• Assist in the production of graphics and post-game stories/press releases.
• Maintain athletic website
• Recruitment of student volunteers
• Develop and promote relationships with local media
• Stat sport contests at home contests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Enrolled in Quincy University’s Master’s Program
• Knowledge of multiple software programs
• Strong written and verbal skills
