Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance
The Athletics Department at Bryant University currently seeking a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant to join our team. The GA reports to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and is responsible for assisting with the development of strength, speed, and conditioning program for all sports at Bryant University. The Strength & Conditioning GA will interact and correspond with assigned Head Coaches about the programs designed for their teams. Bryant University is a
NCAA
Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East and Coastal Athletic Conferences.
GA compensation includes a full tuition waiver, housing, and a $1,500.00 stipend per semester starting August 1. Graduate School is a 2-year part-time program beginning August 2025 through August 2027.
Assist with the development and implement strength, speed, and conditioning program for assigned intercollegiate athletic sports. Interact and correspond with Head Coaches about the strength and conditioning program for their teams. Advise coaches on pre-game and pre-practice protocols as well as post activity needs.
Design and implement winter break and summer workout plans and schedules. Coordinate workouts for athletes remaining on campus during summer and winter breaks.
Conduct performance testing of assigned athletes. Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
Communicate with athletic training staff regarding athlete limitations and adjust workouts accordingly.
Adhere to
NCAA
rules compliance in and be fully informed regarding institutional compliance with the
NCAA
, America East, and Big South Conference rules.

This position is filled best by an individual with a Bachelors Degree, Master’s preferred, in a related field and acceptance into Bryant University Graduate School (acceptance must be received before candidate will be considered). Previous experience working within an intercollegiate athletic program is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with student athletes, athletics staff, and others. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise others are important.
Travel is required, as are evening and weekend hours. A drivers license and
