Bachelor’s degree. (Must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University). Have previous college volleyball experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills.
Willingness to be an apprenticeship leader (clinical instructor). Additional or other related experience.
Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for volleyball.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Volleyball Coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on during play and in the classroom; hospitality; travel management; gameday operations; and other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: Office conditions; standard hours. May work weekends and some holidays.

The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
