Description

Graduate assistant coach will assist the head coach in all aspects of the women's basketball program including coaching, recruiting, scouting, operations and student athlete development. The position is designed for individuals pursuing a graduate degree while gaining hands-on experience in a collegiate environment.

Examples of Duties

Duties Include:

  • Assist in planning and conducting team practices, workouts and game strategies.
  • Support recruitment and evaluation of prospective student athletes.
  • Analyze game film and assist in scouting reports
  • Provide mentorship to student athletes
  • Assist in game day preparation including logistics, equipment and travel coordination
  • Manage administrative tasks such as fundraising, social media engagements and compliance documentation
  • Maintain NCAA, MIAA and University compliance standards
  • Other duties as assigned by coaching staff.
