Purpose of Role

This position will work with the Women's Lacrosse program. Under the supervision of the Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse the position will help support all aspects of the program including travel, recruiting, administration, and coaching/mentoring. The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver for up to 18 graduate credits for the 2025-2026 academic calendar year (August 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026). The applicant will be responsible for the costs of any fees and books associated with the program. Campus housing may be offered if space is available.This position may be renewed for the next academic year, conditional upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds, adherence to employment protocols and remaining in good academic standing. The selected person will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the term of appointment. The individual selected for the position may also be expected to cover a minimum of 5 hours of responsibilities assigned in event operations, facility management, and any other duties as assigned.

• Drive vans for meets and practices when required.
• Provide coaching support during practices.

• Organize volunteers for community service events, fundraisers, and other activities.
• Promote and assist the head coach with student athlete recruitment for SAAC.
• Help promote the program through team social media accounts.
• Assist with recruiting and recruiting visits when necessary.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse
• Paid Stipend to cover 9 Graduate credits per semester. Fees not covered.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional business hours including Sundays and evenings. ● Ability to receive telephone calls/emails, respond to inquiries and communicate with others by telephone/email.
• Experience competing in Lacrosse and a working knowledge of rules and regulations for college athletics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Strong writing skills.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
• Ability to drive a personal or university vehicle for the purpose of university business on a regular basis.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1) Bachelor's degree.

2) Admission into a post graduate program at Daemen University is required.

3) Demonstrated computer proficiency.
