The successful candidate will serve as the Head Athletic Trainer in the Department of Athletics for Men’s Basketball and/or assigned sport(s) by the Associate Athletics Director for Sports Medicine. They will serve as a member of the Sports Medicine Senior Staff to assist in the coordination and operation of the Sports Medicine Department. Primary responsibilities include providing and ensuring care is delivered to our student-athletes as part of the interdisciplinary Pack Performance Tam. This includes, but is not limited to, emergency care, injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation under the supervision of the team physician.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years experience working with Division 1 or Professional athletic program

| Other Required Qualifications |
- Must be eligible for NC Board of Athletic Training license
- Computer competency
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Master’s degree preferred
- Prior experience with Men’s Basketball program
- Experience with athlete monitoring technology
- Experience or interest in utilizing health and performance data
|
