Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Head Coach is responsible for the administration of a Division I intercollegiate Program that complies with the mission, guidelines, rules and regulations of the University, the ASUN, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). More specifically, this person is responsible for, but not limited to, coaching, competition scheduling, travel arrangements, recruiting, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, interacting with internal and external constituents, administration of camps/clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or sport administrator.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's degree is required

• Master's degree is preferred

Experience: - Five years or more of experience in Division I collegiate coaching.

• 40% - Oversee Practices and Player and Team Development - ()
• 25% - Overseeing Recruitment efforts - ()
• 20% - Assist in the management of the Baseball budget - ()

• 5% - Assist in the monitoring of Student-Athlete Academic Progress - ()
