Position Summary: 

Responsible for all aspects of the Men's Rugby Program

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Regular, predictable attendance on campus

• Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap

• Organization and supervision for all aspects of the men's rugby program including recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA, SAC, and WU rules and regulations, scheduling, practice and conditioning, scouting, budget management, fundraising, promotions, organizing and directing camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the director of athletics.

• Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3 years successful head or assistant coaching experience preferred

• Successful performance in an on-campus interview

• Passing of a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Collegiate Recruiting Experience

• Previous head coaching experience

• Experience mentoring student-athletes

• Coordinating/directing camps and clinics

• Fundraising efforts and program promotions

• Experience working with diverse populations
