This role will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the swimming and diving program and supporting our mission of holistic student-athlete development. This position requires a passionate leader who can develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the competitive performance of both teams while prioritizing the academic success and personal development of student-athletes.

Lead all aspects of coaching, training, and mentoring student-athletes in the Men's and Women's Swim and Dive programs.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that focus on individual and team performance improvement.
Recruit highly talented student-athletes to ensure a competitive roster.
Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, academic excellence, and personal growth.
Collaborate with academic advisors and support staff to monitor and support student-athletes' academic progress and overall well-being.
Manage the team budget effectively and efficiently, including travel, equipment, and operational expenses.
Represent the university and the swim and dive programs in a professional manner at conferences, competitions, and public events.
Uphold NCAA, conference, and university policies and regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community stakeholders to support program initiatives and fundraising efforts.
Serve as a role model for student-athletes, demonstrating integrity, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and university community.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Significant coaching experience at the collegiate or elite level, preferably in swim and dive.
Proven track record of recruiting and developing high-caliber student-athletes.
Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations pertaining to swim and dive programs.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Master's Degree.
Previous collegiate or professional swim and dive experience.
Coaching certifications from relevant governing bodies (e.g., ASCA, USA Swimming).

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
