The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive

ROLE of the POSITION

This position exists to enable UNLV to conduct a men’s and women’s intercollegiate Division I Swimming and Diving programs in accordance with NCAA rules and procedures.

This position is expected to identify and recruit student athletes from around the world who are academically competitive at UNLV and athletically competitive at the Division I level in the sports of Swimming and Diving

This position is expected to create and implement a program that is competitive with other similar institutions such that the team finishes in the top thirty or higher at the Division I NCAA National Championships and competes regularly for the top spot in MPSF and the Mountain West Conference.

This position should have a basic knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to assigned job duties and the scope of employment. In addition, this position will be responsible for obtaining proper guidance or approval from Athletics Compliance, prior to participating in select activities, as defined by NCAA bylaws or institutional policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires aBachelor’s Degreefrom an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) anda minimum of four (4) year’s comparable professional and managerial experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
