The Women’s Basketball Head Coach at Gardner-Webb University is responsible for planning, administering and evaluating the overall operation of the women’s basketball program to include, but not limited to, team performance, supporting the academic achievement of student-athletes, recruiting, program management (eligibility certification, event management, scheduling, travel planning, budget management, equipment, athletic training, etc.), college and community service, supervision of assistant coaches and program personnel, fundraising and compliance. The Head Coach is responsible for ensuring that team performance is competitive within the Big South Conference with the goal of achieving postseason competition while supporting the mission and vision of the University’s traditions.

Preferred Qualification: A leader with a four-year degree and 5 or more years as a head or assistant coach at the collegiate level.
Minimum Qualifications to Apply: a four-year degree and 3 or more years as a collegiate head or assistant coach.
