About the Job

 

The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for leading and directing all aspects of a NCAA Division III soccer program that advances the mission of intercollegiate athletics and the University. The head coach supervises assistant coaching staff; leads student recruiting and retention efforts; coaches student athletes and fosters their skill development; leads coaching plans and implementation at practices and competitions; provides for students’ safety, health and wellbeing; assures compliance with NCAA, UMAC and university policies; provides sound fiscal management; supervises equipment oversight, scheduling, travel planning, and summer camps; oversees off-season programs and athlete development; and coordinates program communication and fundraising efforts with the Athletic Director and Communications and Marketing, and Advancement. The head coach will build an effective coaching staff with a shared vision, coordinate a comprehensive recruitment program for student athletes working collaboratively with the Office of Admissions, build and retain a diverse and talented team, foster good sportsmanship and a climate of respect, and provide an environment that supports students in achieving their athletic, academic and life goals.
