The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Head Coach. This position is responsible for the recruitment and selection of prospective student-athletes, as well as the physical and technically training of student-athletes to prepare them for competition in Division I, NCAA Women’s Tennis. The Head Coach is responsible for the scheduling of competitions and team travel arrangements, and for the generation and monitoring of the annual budget for the Women’s Tennis program. Responsibilities include: being knowledgeable of and adhering to University of Florida, UAA, SEC, and NCAA rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; promoting academic excellence and committing to student-athletes’ academic and athletic success while at the University of Florida; and providing supervision for the Assistant Coaches and administrative staff.

Two years of coaching experience at the intercollegiate level
Organized individual with strong administrative, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
Ability to develop and manage a collegiate program, including recruiting under highly selective academic standards
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays and overnight travel
Experience coaching elite athletes in a highly competitive program
