HEAD COACH - WOMEN’S TENNIS

Primary Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and administers all aspects of the women’s tennis program including fiscal management
• Coaches, recruits and provides academic oversight for student-athletes
• Ensures compliance with University, NCAA, and OVC rules and regulations
• Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and its athletics programs through community involvement, public relations and fund raising under the direction of the Director of Athletics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated successful collegiate tennis coaching, professional club experience and/or collegiate playing experience
• Demonstrated budget management experience
• Demonstrated ability to actively recruit and attract qualified student-athletes to campus
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
• Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
